Daily Dose Of Milk 9-25-2024

Bone Broth, Coffee, and the yellow Gatorade Zero. Banana bread, 2 hard-boiled eggs, and crackers. These are the things I'm having for breakfast as I try to leave this cold in the past. On Sunday after what I’d say was one of the best weekends I've had in LA. I woke up with my sinuses on fire. I was hoping that It was just because I went to be at 3 am for the 4th night in a row and that it could be remedied by a good night of sleep. Oh boy was I wrong I woke up on Monday and felt like absolute shit. After a week of constant back and neck pain, I was hoping to get back to normal this week.

This is the first proper cold I’ve had since moving to LA. I guess it’s better to get it out of the way now while I don't have anything to do. The only problem is being sick makes me not want to do anything at all. For the last two days, I've sat around and done absolutely nothing besides eat soup and watch Industry, It is a great show. I was planning on finishing my zine this week. I thought this week would be a more productive version of last week. Just a bunch of fun and quality time with friends. Sunday was a nice reminder that no matter what you can't live in that moment forever but can you?

The older I get I feel this growing pressure to be “more responsible”, and to have the things society uses to symbolize success. The unfortunate reality is the older I get the less I want to have any of it. At least the way they say it should look. I only want to do what I want to do. I hope those things bring me the stability to have the life I want. I also am at peace with taking that gamble. Would it be done to pay for an office space with the homies just to see what happens? Yea, maybe but I still want to do it. I guess that's part of the problem.
